Wheels travel for free, and all are below recommended retail price. Most are 'flat-packed' for shipping and require some basic assembly.
Free assembly: I will be happy to assemble and wax your wheel for you for free if you can collect it from me (Ashby de la Zouch, Leics).

Ashford Kiwi Spinning Wheel (natural finish)
The super low price of the Kiwi doesn't mean that Ashford have compromised build quality. The design is lightweight, portable but sturdy. You get two speeds and a double treadle, which makes treadling easier and it's possible to stop and start the wheel with your feet. There are plenty of add-ons for the Kiwi.

Ashford Traditional Spinning Wheel
The Ashford Traditional is the world's most popular spinning wheel and is terrific value for money. Strong and sturdy, it is made from New Zealand silver beech throughout. The design has only seen minor improvements over 40 years.
In short, the perfect first wheel.

Ashford Traveller Spinning Wheel
The Ashford Traveller is as well-made as the Traditional. It is made from New Zealand silver beech throughout.
It is an upright or 'castle' style wheel. The flyer is positioned over the wheel giving the wheel a much smaller footprint than the Traditional. The compact design is therefore more portable - it will fit in the boot of your car more easily than the Traditional or Elizabeth.

Tiffany Wild Rose Traveller Spinning Wheel
I was inspired by our native wild rose, or 'dogrose', and by Tiffany's Dogwood Tiffany lamp. I always thought that the American 'dogwood' and our dogrose were one and the same. On Tiffany's Dogwood lamp, the flowers look remarkably like our wild rose. But apparently they're unrelated. My spinning wheel design is based on this lamp, but I've adapted the design slightly so that it more closely resembles our wild rose.
Ashford Elizabeth 2 Spinning Wheel
The Ashford Elizabeth is the largest wheel in Ashford's range and it looks magnificient. The classic fairytale wheel. Beautifully crafted from New Zealand silver beech throughout.
The drive wheel itself is very large, 24"/61cm, mounted on ball bearings, which means that it is smooth, effortless and comfortable to treadle for long periods.

Ashford Joy Spinning Wheel
The aptly-named Joy is a modern design which looks amazing, is light and folds up small and flat for easy transport.
The built-in lazy kate folds in, the treadle board folds up and the small, light wheel can be carried by its handle or in its own carry bag. Take this wheel with you wherever you go!
It comes lacquered and assembled, so is ready to start spinning straight out of the box. It now comes with a sliding-hook flyer and 30% larger bobbins as standard.
