This is the original bobbin with one whorl slightly smaller than the other. This is the one you need if you have a single-drive Traditional, Traveller or Elizabeth fitted with the multi-hook flyer. Bobbins to fit the new sliding-hook flyers are shown below.

This is the original bobbin wit one whorl slightly smaller than the other. This is the one you need if you have a double-drive Traditional, Traveller or Elizabeth fitted with the multi-hook flyer. Bobbins to fit the new sliding-hook flyers are shown below.

Ashford sliding hook flyer bobbin, single drive
You can never have enough bobbins! Spare bobbin for Ashford single-drive sliding hook flyers. Natural finish.
This bobbin has a larger whorl fitted to both ends, and holds 30% more yarn than the standard bobbin.
This bobbin fits the single-drive sliding-hook flyer, which has been available separately in single- and double-drive versions for fitting to the Traditional, Traveller and Elizabeth wheels. The sliding-hook flyer has also been fitted to the Joy spinning wheel since the beginning of 2010
