Assembling your spinning wheel

Most wheels are 'flat-packed' for shipping and require some basic assembly. Instructions are included in the welcome pack and you'll find this reasonably straightforward.

Free assembly: I will be happy to assemble and wax your wheel for you for free if you can collect it from me (Ashby de la Zouch, Leics).

Coloured finish: I can leave the wood in its natural colour or stain the wood before waxing - see the image to the right for samples: Light oak is the palest, a more golden colour only a little deeper than the natural wood. Light teak is much warmer, medium tone, and Rosewood is a dark brown.

If you order other items at the same time, I'll be happy to finish those to match.

FAQs - Should I finish the wood of my Ashford wheel / carders / lazy kate / etc with something?
