Ashford top whorl drop spindle - small whorl

Well balanced. Strong spring wire hook bent to help keep your yarn from arcing out of the hook. Lightly finished with lacquer. Long shaft helps to balance the spindle and allow for "down the thigh" propulsion for high speed spinning.

10" (250mm) long altogether, whorl is 2.5"(65mm) diameter and weighs approx 30g (1 oz)

Ashford drop spindle - classic

A great all-round drop spindle for hand spinning. Perfect for medium and chunky yarns. The whorl (bottom-whorl) is nice and chunky and keeps the spindle spinning.
