I did consider something along the lines of butchery or cooking as a horror movie but that would have been a step too far!
The TV series 'V' has stuck in my mind since it was shown in the 80s. I couldn't help feeling then that the way the insidious aliens treated us is no different to our attitude towards animals.
I'm fascinated by the fact that we humans are attracted to films which portray us being farmed or harvested, chopped or sawn up etc etc In popular films we're generally victorious in the end, in horror maybe not always.
if sheep were to see certain human programmes - even something twee like countryfile, I guess the concept of humans farming sheep would be as horrific to them as we find shows like V or Under the Skin.
