I often forget to have breakfast and don't realise until late morning when I find myself starving. Anything odd suddenly seems much more legitimate if you can find a posh name for it. Chocolate sprinkled on your coffee? Cappuccino! Want chips in a smart restaurant? Frittes! Like to get hammered before 5pm? Aperitif!
