This was sparked off by a discussion on the Today programme. One of those light-hearted conversations just before 9am. The interviewer said 'tell us something to cheer us up' and there was a long silence before everyone laughed. A lovely moment that I have stolen.
Struggling for a punchline, I checked out some 'universal cartoon captions' which are a thing with the New Yorker. As soon as I saw 'Well this is awkward' I knew it was the one.
