A comment from a friend about going to bed with wet hair reminded me of one of my favourites - Day following the gale. There have been a few more since along the same lines, drawing the wool in funny ways. The phrase 'wet wool' amuses me, and the mention of 'going to bed' is the kind of absurd anthropomorphism I like.
